Chetana Apangmati Vikas Sanstha has been recognized, registered and has earned several aspects of an ideal special Institute for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities. We would like to share following are key highlights of our journey, so far:

1️⃣ Recognition & Compliance

1. Recognized by Social Justice Ministry, Government of Maharashtra.

2. Registered NGO with NGO Darpan, Charity Commissioner, Income Tax Dept. and The National Trust, New Delhi.

3. FCRA Account permits us to receive foreign donations from our well-wishers.

4. We adhere to Indian standards applicable for NGOs that ensures our yearly accounting system to be transparent.

2️⃣ Education & Vocational Training

1. We provide Free education and vocational training to all students. We stick to our core principles, even though we keep facing financial challenges.

2. Trainees explore various vocational options to choose their interest. So that they can  build their carrier in the chosen field.
   
   

3. Implementation of 'special curriculum' for school students and training center trainees.
   
   

4. E-learning facility and devices for students and trainees.
   
   

5. Focus on personality development through music, dance, drama, yoga, and sports.

6. Monthly stipend to trainees in vocational training & production center encourages them to give their best and respect in the society.
   
   

3️⃣ Healthcare & Well-being

1. Expert medical panel provides free services, conducting medical checkup camps  to ensure healthy living for all special students.

2. We regularly provide Special therapies (like music, drama, yoga, etc.) to all our special students for their personality development.

3. Our emphasis is on building individual's confidence and making them independent, in daily life.
   
   

4️⃣ Competitions & Exposure

1. Our teachers ensures students to participation in State, National, and International Special Competitions. Experienced students do succeed. National level Competitions like Quizabled.

2. Short Local Educational trips:  We regularly organize group wise half a day trips to markets, gardens, spinning & sugar mills, banks, exhibitions, agricultural fields, historical & tourist places, manufacturing plants, Industries, foundries, etc. to get our students a real life experience.  

3. Long distance Educational trips:  For independent students, we had organized long distance trips within Maharashtra (Pune, Mumbai, Sindhudurg, Malvan), Hyderabad, Mysore, Bangalore and Rajasthan. 

5️⃣ Parents & Community Support

1. Regular workshops, lectures, orientation programs for parents & teachers.
   
   

2. Guidance in accessing government schemes for special persons.

1. Residential hostel facility for boys with qualified staff.
