Our special trainees are trained to operate wood pressed mill to extract Sesame oil.
Sourcing and Cleaning: Sesame seeds are sourced from trusted vendors and cleaned to remove dirt and impurities by our special trainees.
Drying: The seeds are sun-dried to remove excess moisture.
Grinding: The dried sesame seeds are then placed in a traditional wood-pressed mill, where they are crushed to extract oil.
Pressing: The mill, powered manually or mechanically, presses the seeds slowly to extract the oil without generating heat, preserving nutrients.
Collection: The sesame oil is collected in a container, and the remaining seed cake is separated.
Settling: The oil is left to settle for a few days to allow impurities to settle at the bottom.
Packaging: The clear, pure oil is filtered and then bottled for sale.
Byproduct Use: The leftover seed cake is often used as fertilizer
We keep training our special trainees and encourage them to get involved from start to end of the entire process.
The process of extracting wood-pressed Abhyanga oil (herbal body massage oil) is as follows:
Sourcing Ingredients: Various herbs are sourced from trusted vendors.
Herb Preparation: The herbs are cleaned and dried to remove any moisture, ensuring purity and effectiveness.
Infusion: The dried herbs are slowly simmered in water to extract their medicinal properties. This herbal decoction is prepared with care.
Mixing: The herbal decoction is mixed with the inhouse prepared base oils, such as sesame or coconut oil.
Wood-Pressing: The mixture is then added to a traditional wood-pressed mill, where it is pressed slowly at a low temperature. This ensures the oil retains its nutrients and herbal benefits.
Filtration: The oil is filtered to remove any remaining herbal residues.
Settling: The oil is left to settle for a few days, allowing any impurities to settle at the bottom.
Packaging: The pure Abhyanga oil is then bottled and labeled for use in massage therapy or personal care.
