In our Vocational Training & Production Centre's Umang group, we are currently training 4 to 5 of our special students in soap making, under the guidance of qualified and experienced teacher.
Our teacher procure quality raw material, the same is then cut into pieces and melted, a desired fragrance is added to melted raw material. Our students pour this mixture in the specific size and remove it after cooling. We then pack it in different packaging.
Since soap-making involves chemicals (caustic soda/lye) which can be dangerous, we avoid giving caustic soda work to students (only teacher handles this process).
Special students safely do measuring, mixing colors, adding fragrance, pouring into moulds, and packing.
Special students of Umang group make various following soaps and hand wash:
Neem Soap – neem oil.
Turmeric Soap –haldi (turmeric) powder.
Rose Soap – rose fragrance and dried rose petals.
Lemon Soap – lemon fragrance + yellow color.
Aloe Vera Soap – aloe vera gel + green color.
Multani Mitti Soap – earth powder for skin care.
Charcoal Soap – mix of tulsi + neem + aloe
